I offer individual sessions for 50 minutes ($165) or 80 minutes ($225). Below are descriptions of the various therapeutic approaches I will use in our work together (on desktop, hover over the images). I look forward to connecting and starting your journey soon!
An evidence-based approach focusing on changing patterns of behaviour and thought by recognizing and challenging negative thought patterns, commonly used for anxiety, depression, and stress.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Consideration of diverse cultural backgrounds, values, and experiences, recognizing their influence on beliefs, behaviours, and mental health.
With an emphasis on cultural awareness, respect, flexibility, and understanding.
Cultural Sensitivity
Involves being fully present in the moment without judgement, often practiced through techniques like meditation and deep breathing; beneficial for emotional regulation, stress reduction, and anxiety.
Mindfulness
Focuses on finding solutions for current problems rather than exploring root causes, emphasizing future goals, strengths, resources, and celebrating successes.
Solution-Focused Therapy
Used for trauma treatment, focusing on reprocessing memories to reduce their emotional impact, involving an eight-phase and three-prong approach.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Involves compassion and understanding for clients’ traumatic experiences, prioritizing safety, trust, empowerment, trigger awareness, collaboration, and resilience.
