Client appointment times are reserved just for them. Therefore, a late cancellation or no show means that the client’s appointment could have been filled by another individual. If for any reason the client needs to miss or reschedule a session, they can use the JaneApp or contact Laura directly to cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Please note that cancellations within the 24-hour period before the session, or no shows, will result in full session fees being charged to the client.

Sessions occur either in-person or via a secure video platform, ensuring confidentiality. Breaches of confidentiality will be discussed during intake and outlined in your consent form. During sessions, we'll address your therapy goals and personal history. Therapy duration can vary based on your needs. Trust, respect, and open communication form the foundation of our therapeutic relationship.

Please contact your insurance company to determine whether my psychotherapeutic services will be covered; each individual extended healthcare plan may differ from the other. I encourage you to seek clarification before seeking services to ensure coverage. My services are supervised by a Registered Psychotherapist. Receipts will be provided which will indicate the necessary information needed to be reimbursed by your insurance.
